User Policies

About Our Online Cafe

This is an online, interactive social networking area with shared content, groups, forums, blogs, music, videos, photos, etc., for individuals to post, share, and respond to one another in Christ-centered ways. It is a place to ask questions, and share answers, on faith and life. This is an area created by you as a member of the online community.

Our Policies:

1) We encourage a diversity of thoughts, opinions, and ideas.

2) Each user of the Cafe must treat all other users with a Christian heart, kind attitude, and respect. It is understood that respect for another's opinions does not necessarily imply agreement with those opinions.

3) All users must use appropriate language while conveying their thoughts.

4) All users must protect the privacy of other users by not using their comments and by not sharing their e-mail addresses or identities with others outside of the Cafe community, without that person's express permission.

5) All uploaded content must be original to the contibutor, public domain, or within the copyright rules of the material. Copyrighted material added without the express written consent of the copyright holder will be removed.

6) Cyber-bulling of any type will not be tolerated. All cyber-bullying concerns should be reported to the cafe administrator.

7) Inappropriate use, activity, language, and content will not be tolerated. Concerns should be reported to the cafe administrator.

8) All members also need to be aware of the Terms of Service and Privacy policies of the social network hosting service (Ning) available by following the links at the bottom of most Cafe pages.

9) Christ Lutheran Church & School is not reponsible for the content contributed by members, nor for the content of the advertisements posted by Google. Questionable and/or objectional content should be reported to the Cafe administrator.

10) The cafe membership of those who violate these policies may be revoked, and they may be blocked from future access, at the sole discretion of the cafe administrator. The administrator reserves the right to alter or update the policies at anytime. All members of the Cafe will be notified of any changes or updates either by Cafe email or notices posted on the Cafe Homepage.

Becoming a member of the Cafe indicates acceptance of these policies.
